Características
1. High output power, strong load ability, and strong anti-interference ability. The shell body is made of aldural/high-strength aluminum alloy, equipped with potential protection ring and fourth-order active low pass filter; it can play an effective role in shielding external power frequency and strong electromagnetic field. For the measurement of capacitive specimen, since the short-circuit current is greater than 1.6mA, it’s easy to rise the test voltage to the rating of output voltage. For the measurement of low resistance, it will not affect the test by using scaling method.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between a digital insulation resistance tester and a regular multimeter for insulation resistance testing?
A: A regular multimeter is mainly used for conventional measurements such as low resistance, continuity, voltage, and current. Its test voltage is typically insufficient to effectively evaluate high-resistance insulation systems. A digital insulation resistance tester, on the other hand, uses a dedicated DC high-voltage test circuit that can provide test voltages of 100V, 250V, 500V, 1000V, and more, and can measure insulation resistance up to the GΩ level. Therefore, it is more suitable for professional insulation condition assessment of electrical equipment.
Q: What types of equipment can the digital insulation resistance tester test?
A: The digital insulation resistance tester is suitable for a variety of electrical equipment and circuits, including power cables, control cables, motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, distribution equipment, and other electrical systems requiring insulation performance inspection. During actual testing, the appropriate test voltage and test method can be selected based on the equipment's rated voltage, insulation structure, and relevant test standards.
Q: Can the digital insulation resistance tester be used for insulation testing of power cables?
A: Yes. Power cables are one of the typical applications of the digital insulation resistance tester. It can be used to check the insulation condition between the cable conductor and ground, as well as between different conductors. For long-distance, high-capacitance cables, charging current and stabilization time should be considered during testing, and the test should be carried out in accordance with relevant cable testing standards. Insulation resistance testing is a basic insulation check and cannot replace all types of cable withstand voltage or diagnostic tests.
