Product Introduction

Based on the Chinese national standard "GB311-61" and the "Preventive Test Code for Electrical Equipment" issued by the former Ministry of Water Resources and Electric Power in January 1985, the Triple-Frequency Transformer developed by Wuhan UHV is designed to meet the voltage-frequency induction withstand voltage test requirements for high-voltage transformers in power systems. Widely applied in AC withstand voltage testing of 35–220kV cascade voltage transformers, this equipment is used to assess the insulation strength of main transformers, as well as for induction testing on motor windings and small transformers. It can also serve as a short-duration 150Hz power supply.

1. It is widely used for frequency doubling induction withstand voltage test of voltage transformer;

2. Conduct phase splitting frequency doubling induction withstand voltagetest for power transformer;

3. Conduct frequency doubling induction voltage withstand test for other

induction coil electrical products. 

Technique parameters

1、Input voltage: three-phase 380V 50Hz

2、Output voltage: single phase 300V, 500V, 800V, 1000V, single phase150Hz (if higher voltage is required, external step-up transformer isrequired)

3、Output capacity: 20% of product capacity

4、Harmonic distortion: ＜5%-8%

5、No load operation time: ≤5 minutes

6、Duration of test object under rated voltage: 40 seconds

The Triple-Frequency Transformer features the following key characteristics:

1、It is capable of performing induction tests on motor windings and small transformers, and can also serve as a short-term 150Hz power supply.

2、The unit adopts a three-core five-column structure, with the core operating at a magnetic flux density above the saturation level.
